When contracts call for aerial image resolution at greater than 50MP, Allman Environmental Services Photography can deliver.

Several of our contracts require aerial images with a resolution of greater than 50MP.

This specification is beyond the capability of any drone with a built-in camera; it requires at least a quadcopter with the ability to carry a DSLR with 50M-or-greater resolution.

Allman Environmental Services Photography has been providing this size imagery for years, using SONY drone equipment and a versatile, 60MP mirrorless camera to capture these images and exceed size specifications.

Particularly for New York City Department of Environmental Protection projects, our setup ensures safely and beautifully captured images of all kinds of environmental infrastructure projects.

Preconstruction at the Verrazzano-Narrows

 

 

A few early-morning starts on a new project in Brooklyn. This one is along the greenway at the Verrazzano Narrows bridge, where large marine vessels are anchored silently offshore and crowds of gulls wait for a regular morning feeding from the neighborhood retired.

I’ve photographed the bridge before, for the New York City Marathon (a few times for the New York Times, and once for Sports Illustrated): from the bridge at ground-level, from the photographers’ truck, and from a helicopter, twice. It’s an old friend.
